Last week we continued our study of suspense in literature and film with Cornell Woolwich's "It Had to Be Murder" and Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window. We looked at the ways foreshadowing creates suspense differently in text versus film.
This week we are wrapping up this unit before we leave for Christmas break. Binder checks will be on Monday to make sure all information given during this unit is available as well as all roots lists up to this point.
Don't forget that we will be going to see Star Wars, partly because it ties in with our film unit that we are wrapping up, partly because it ties in with Mr. Carson's Technology course, and partly as a reward to all of grade seven for working so hard to earn RAMS during this phase of PBIS :)
I hope everyone has a fun and restful vacation!
